Man of the Year dinner honoring Bill Hillgrove
The Circus Saints and Sinners Club Bob Prince Tent, a charitable organization, is hosting their Man of the Year dinner honoring Bill Hillgrove, popular media sports personality and the voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers. The dinner will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe.
The reception begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. with the program to follow. Entertainment will be provided by William Dell and the Wee Jams and Jimmy Sapienza and the Five Guys Named Moe. Tickets are $60 per person or $450 for a table of eight.
Foge Fazio will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Honored guests include Johnny Majors, Dave Wannstedt, Dick Groat, Bill Fralic, Steve Pederson, Jamie Dixon and representatives of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Circus Saints and Sinners Club of America is a charitable organization that got its start back in the late 1920s. This group provided financial assistance to old and down trodden circus performers and has evolved into a modern non-profit philanthropic organization benefiting a wide variety of charities over the years. At the end of each year, all proceeds raised by different events held during the course of the year are distributed among local charities. Recipients of this year’s proceeds include The Joe Bellante Ministry, Brother’s Brother Foundation, The Italian American Sports Hall of Fame and Marian Manor.
